Civil Law

The Civil Procedure Code governs how civil cases are heard and handled in civil courts.

The Civil Procedure Code, as its name literally implies, specifies the steps involved in filing and adjudicating civil cases, as well as the process and available remedies for filing appeals, revisions, reviews, and references, as well as the execution of civil judgement issued by civil courts.

Civil laws can be further broken down into other subcategories, including Contract Laws, Family Laws, Property Laws, and Law of Torts.
