I was given the opportunity to express my thoughts and opinions on NDPS CASES.

The number of NDPS cases pending has increased at an alarming rate due to a lack of official manpower. As a result of insufficient official staffing, some of the following major concerns have arisen: –

-A coordination problem between officials and the Court.
-Failure to produce a witness and the accused for deposition, and so on.

Therefore, the NDPS TRIAL will be less effective, resulting in a greater likelihood of acquittal or reduced sentences for accused persons in NDPS cases.

To avoid such circumstances in the future and to make NDPS TRIALS more successful, it has been suggested that official manpower be increased by appointing Respective I.O. of their native locations in departments of NDPS located in various areas for efficient working and as well as a Proposal for establishing a Fast Track Court for NDPS trials.
